John Hackett

John Hackett, Ed. D is a servant leader who assists leaders and organizations in going from where they are to where they want to be by offering coaching, training, speaking, and writing services.
Dr. Hackett is a redirected high school teacher, counselor and administrator, university administrator, and professor teaching doctoral-level leadership classes.
John is the C.E.O. of Making Connections, a leadership consulting company affiliated with Maxwell Leadership. He is an accomplished and licensed DISC consultant, coach, trainer, and writer.
John has been a member of the Kiwanis executive board for six years.
Becki Hackett
Vice President
Rebecca (Becki) Hackett is a charter member of the Kiwanis Club of Shorewood. She has previously served as President, Vice President, and treasurer for the Kiwanis Club of Shorewood, IL.
Becki is a 45-year Sr. Sales Director in Mary Kay Cosmetics and has also been very active with the Plainfield-Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce and Joliet Chamber of Commerce.
Becki has been a mentor to many businesswomen in the community. She has been married to John for over 46 years. They have three daughters, one son-in-law, and two grandsons. Becki enjoys serving others in the community and traveling.

Elaine has been a member of the Shorewood, Plainfield, Joliet and Minooka Communities for over 16 years. She has been in banking for 24 years. Elaine has also served on the Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce Board for 8 years and has been serving The Kiwanis of Shorewood for the past 5 years.
My passions are my family, giving back, reading and nature.
